The CSR Occupational First Aid Course is part of SHENA's ongoing efforts to foster a culture of safety across all industries while ensuring that every employee returns home safely every day. 41 Indonesian construction workers completed the course under the SHENA Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, which was implemented in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Brunei Darussalam. The certificate presentation took place on 17th November afternoon at Gadong.
The First Aid Course aims to enhance participants' understanding of safety and health in the workplace, as well as equipping participants with basic first aid skills to deal with serious injuries and save lives. The certificates were presented by His Excellency Dr. Achmad Ubaedillah, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia and Awang Haji Muhsin bin Haji Ahmad, Chief Executive Officer of SHENA.
